Pentagon to replace lots of media outlets with pro-Trump ones

After the change of the head of the Pentagon, several media outlets were removed from their offices. They were replaced by media outlets that are more loyal to Donald Trump, Reuters reports.
Thus, four media organizations - The New York Times, National Public Radio (NPR), NBC News, and Politico - have been "evicted" from their Pentagon offices.
Instead, these media outlets will be replaced by media outlets that are considered more loyal to the Republicans and, in particular, to Trump. These are the New York Post, One America News Network, Breitbart News Network, and HuffPost News.
The Pentagon explained this by launching an "annual media rotation program" that involves changing one print publication, one online resource, one TV channel, and one radio station each year to allow other media to gain access to permanent residence in the Pentagon. At the same time, the Pentagon emphasized that journalists of the "evicted" publications will remain members of the Ministry of Defense press corps.
A representative of NBC News expressed disappointment with the Trump administration's decision. Other "evicted" media outlets have not yet commented on the situation.
"We’re disappointed by the decision to deny us access to a broadcasting booth at the Pentagon that we’ve used for many decades... We will continue to report with the same integrity and rigor NBC News always has," an NBC News spokesperson said.
The Pentagon Press Association expressed concern over the unprecedented move by the Trump administration.
Reshuffle in the Pentagon
Pete Hegseth, a former host of the Fox News channel loyal to Trump, has been appointed as the head of the Pentagon. Even before his appointment, Hegseth's candidacy was criticized, and the media reported that Trump might offer the post of defense minister to someone else.
After the rotations, the Pentagon deprived former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley of security access. Hegseth ordered an investigation into him.
Before leaving the White House, Joe Biden granted a preventive pardon to retired US General Mark Milley.
