In the United States, actor Patrick Muldoon has died at the age of 57. He was known for his roles in cult TV series and films of the 1990s, according to TMZ.
Cause of death
The actor died of a heart attack on Sunday, April 19.
According to his sister, Shana Muldoon Zappa, the incident occurred in the morning at Muldoon’s home in Beverly Hills. The night before, he had spent time with his girlfriend, and they had coffee together. After that, the actor went to take a shower but did not return for a long time.
She later went to check on him and found him unconscious on the bathroom floor. Emergency services were called and attempted to resuscitate Muldoon, but he could not be saved.
Who Patrick Muldoon was
The actor was born on September 27, 1968, in San Pedro, California, USA.
He began his acting career while still in college. One of his first roles was in the popular 1990 sitcom “Who’s the Boss?”. He later had a guest role in the series “Saved by the Bell.”
Muldoon gained the most recognition for his role as Austin Reed in the soap opera “Days of Our Lives,” where he appeared from 1992 to 1995 and later reprised the role in 2011–2012.
He also played Richard Hart in the popular series “Melrose Place,” which became one of the symbols of 1990s television.
In addition to television, Muldoon also appeared in films. One of his most notable roles was Zander Barcalow in the 1997 sci-fi film “Starship Troopers.”
In recent years, the actor continued working in the industry, appearing in films such as “Separation” (2021), “The Warrant” (2021), “Dakota” (2022), “Marlowe” (2022), and “Murder at Hollow Creek” (2023).
His final work will be the film “Dirty Hands,” which is expected to premiere later this year.
