Russia is witnessing a growing number of fires and sabotage attacks on railway infrastructure facilities, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR).

According to GUR, a partisan movement is actively operating throughout the entire territory of the aggressor state, coordinating attacks on strategically important facilities.

In just the past few months, fires and explosions have occurred in the Bryansk, Rostov, and Murmansk regions, as well as in Chechnya and Karachay-Cherkessia. Acts of resistance are taking place not only in Russia itself but also in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories — in Crimea and the Luhansk region.

Coordinated actions by partisans significantly complicate the enemy’s logistics, limit the ability to transfer equipment and reinforcements, and weaken its offensive potential.

It should be recalled that recently, ATESH agents carried out a successful act of sabotage on Russian railway infrastructure near Novocherkassk in the Rostov region.

As a result, the movement schedule of trains carrying military equipment and personnel was disrupted. The sabotage caused a chain reaction of delays in critical supplies for the occupying forces.

Earlier, partisans organized an explosion in the Leningrad region — as a result, a train carrying military cargo derailed. The sabotage paralyzed train traffic along the Saint Petersburg–Pskov line.
