Russians have established their headquarters in one of the sanatoriums in the Saky district of temporarily occupied Crimea, where a large amount of enemy equipment is located, the partisan movement ATESH reports.

In particular, the partisans discovered a new location of Russian military personnel at a sanatorium situated on Morska Street in the Saky district. Numerous military cargo vehicles, personnel in military uniforms, and heightened security were observed on the sanatorium premises.

"Our agents managed to obtain a lot of valuable information. The specific military unit deployed at this facility is currently being identified," the ATESH press service commented.

The partisans also noted that the Russians cynically use civilians as cover by placing their facilities in a resort area surrounded by sanatoriums and residential buildings. This not only endangers the safety of local residents but also is a gross violation of international humanitarian law.

Strike on Saky airfield

On July 26, 2024, a fire broke out at the military airfield Saky following an attack in Crimea. Later, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that the airfield had been hit.

The sources indicated that the Russians used the airfield to control airspace, the Black Sea waters, and to launch airstrikes on the territory of Ukraine.

According to the Telegram channel Astra, a Russian radar system could be allegedly destroyed during the strike on the airfield.
