Part of Ukraine's Sumy community left without power due to a Russian attack

Some consumers in the Sumy community were temporarily left without electricity due to a Russian attack on August 5, according to a Telegram post from Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
"As a result of the enemy attack in the Sumy district, part of the consumers in the Sumy community were temporarily left without electricity," Hryhorov reported.
According to him, specialists are already working on restoration. Some critical infrastructure facilities are being switched to backup power.
Missile strike on the Sumy region
Today, August 5, at around 10:00 AM Kyiv time, the Russian army launched a missile strike on the Sumy district. The Pishchanskyi district of the Sumy community came under attack.
According to the latest information, the missile hit an agricultural enterprise. As a result of the attack, two employees of the enterprise — men aged 54 and 55 — were killed. Three other employees were injured.
