Ozon warehouse goes up in flames in Bashkortostan: What we know so far

In the city of Blagoveshchensk in the Republic of Bashkortostan, a fire broke out at an Ozon warehouse on August 27. The fire occurred after reports of strikes, but the exact cause has not yet been officially established, according to the Exilenova+ Telegram channel.

The fire was reported in the morning of August 27. According to reports that appeared online, after a series of strikes in Blagoveshchensk, a warehouse of the Russian marketplace Ozon caught fire.
Photos and videos from the scene are also being circulated online, but there is currently no independent confirmation of the damage or the cause of the fire.

At the same time, there were reports of explosions in Sterlitamak. Residents reported hearing explosions, but there was no information about strikes on facilities in the city at the time of publication.
Ozon has already been attacked
The incident occurred amid a series of attacks on Ozon's logistics infrastructure in Russia. Last August, drones had already struck the company's warehouses in several regions.
On the night of August 24, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck three major logistics facilities of the Russian marketplace Ozon located in southern Russia. Following reports of the attack, the company's share price fell sharply.
The strikes hit Ozon logistics complexes in Enem, Adygea, with an area of about 91,200 square meters; in Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol Krai, with an area of about 93,500 square meters; and in Tyube, Dagestan. The latter is the largest of the three facilities: its area is approximately 130,000 square meters.
The fire at the Ozon distribution center in the village of Tyube near Makhachkala has been confirmed by a satellite image. The facility is one of the marketplace's largest logistics complexes: it was built in 2025 as part of the North-South transport corridor, which connects Russia with India, Iran, and other countries.
