Russia’s strike on Kyiv

The previous night, on August 28, Russian forces carried out one of the most massive combined attacks on Kyiv. The Russians targeted the capital with Shahed drones, as well as cruise and ballistic missiles.

The overnight strike caused destruction across all districts of Kyiv - the first time this has happened since the start of the full-scale war.

In particular, in the Darnytskyi district, a missile hit a five-story residential building, completely destroying one section of it.
