Over 20 sites hit in Kyiv as Russia pounds city overnight, dozens injured

Today, on July 4, Russian troops launched one of the largest attacks on Kyiv. More than 20 locations were damaged, according to the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko.
According to Tkachenko, more than 20 people were injured in the attack, including a 10-year-old girl. There is also information about 14 hospitalized. The data on the wounded is being clarified.
Solomianskyi district
Solomianskyi district suffered the most. In Vidradne, residential buildings and shops were damaged. In other locations, a private house, schools, cafes, a garage cooperative, and a service station were also damaged. Rescuers are fighting the fire in the area of non-residential buildings.
"More than 30 apartment buildings, 5 educational institutions, and many private houses were damaged in the area. Headquarters have been set up at 36B Vidradnyi Street (school No. 22) and 106B Novopolova Street (gymnasium No. 13)," said Tkachenko.
Sviatoshynskyi district
Consequences and damage at at least six locations. More than 10 apartment buildings were damaged, but most of them were damaged on Lesya Kurbasa Street.
Rescuers extinguished the car fires. At one location, the second and third floors of a 14-story residential building were damaged.
Dniprovskyi district
Damage in several locations. Parts of the drone were found near a lyceum.
Darnytskyi district
Drone fragments were found in an open area. There was no large-scale damage.

Shevchenkivskyi district
Two residential buildings were damaged, but there were no casualties, as the buildings were not inhabited. A fire broke out in an open area near a school.
Holosiivskyi district
Debris from the air attack was found in several places. Ambulances were damaged.
"Rescuers, our services and police are working everywhere. Russians are not human beings. But they will lose. We will do everything for this. Because evil never wins. Never," added the head of the administration.
Attack against Ukraine on the night of July 4
On the night of July 4, the Russians launched 550 air targets at Ukraine, including:
- 539 drones;
- one Kh-47 M2 Kinzhal aerial ballistic missile;
- six Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles;
- four Iskander-K cruise missiles.
