The Oscars will be broadcast in the United States on ABC and for the first time live on the American VOD streaming service Hulu.

The event will take place in Los Angeles on March 2 - the beginning is scheduled for 19:00 local time, and the Oscars will start at midnight from March 2 to 3 in Kyiv.

Tune in to the 97th Oscars at the new time of 7:00pm EDT / 4:00pm PDT / 11:00pm GMT / 7:00am CST. See it for free over-the-air on your local ABC station and streaming live on Hulu for the first time. What is known about Oscar 2025

The awards will be held in 23 categories.

The ceremony will be hosted by the charismatic and witty American comedian and TV host Conan O'Brien.

Emma Stone, Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, and other world stars will present the awards to the winners.

It should be noted that Emilia Pérez has the most nominations, followed by The Brutalist. The Conclave is nominated in nine categories, and Nickel Boys in two.

Jacques Audiard, Sean Baker, Edward Berger, and Brady Corbet are expected to win Best Director. Adrien Brody, Timothée Chalamet, and Cynthia Erivo are among the actors who are expected to win this year's statuette.

It should be noted that the Ukrainian documentary film Porcelain War has been nominated for Oscar 2025. It will compete in the same category as last year's Mstyslav Chernov's film 20 Days in Mariupol.
