Orban makes next scandalous statement on war in Ukraine
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that Ukraine would not be able to defeat Russia on the battlefield. The recording of the prime minister's speech was published by the official representative of the Hungarian government Zoltan Kovacs.
"From where we are now, it's obvious that the Ukrainians will not win on the frontline. There is no solution on the battleground. Russians will not lose. There will be no political change in Moscow. This is the reality," Orban said.
This is not the first time Orban has stated that Ukraine is allegedly losing the war. For example, in May, he said that Ukraine supposedly could not win the war against Russia. At the time, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry responded to Orban by saying that the Kremlin should be rejoicing because the Hungarian prime minister had absolved Russia of responsibility for its aggression against Ukraine.
Recently, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban threatened to block all EU aid to Ukraine. He also wants to prevent the country from joining the EU itself.
