Olena Zelenska meets Melania Trump in New York

First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska met with First Lady of the United States Melania Trump, press secretary of the President of Ukraine, Serhii Nykyforov, told RBC-Ukraine. Details are not yet known.
“The bilateral meeting between the first ladies of Ukraine and the US took place yesterday. Olena Zelenska's team will release details,” Nykyforov said.
Zelenska also took part in events on the sidelines of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, which were dedicated to mental health.
In her speech, the First Lady of Ukraine spoke about the experience of creating the all-Ukrainian mental health program. The goal of this program is to bring psychological help as close as possible to people.
“We conducted an information campaign to convince society that caring about mental health is not shameful, but responsible and right. The result: while in 2022, 46% of Ukrainians told us in surveys that they would never go to a psychologist, the number of such people has decreased to 22%,” Zelenska said.
According to her, mental health is a global problem, just like poverty, climate change, and rising prices.

Yesterday, September 23, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with US President Donald Trump. The Ukrainian leader did not disclose the details of their meeting.
After the talks, the American leader wrote on Truth Social that Ukraine could regain all of its territories occupied by Russia if the European Union helped it do so.
