Odesa under attack: Russian strike damages railway infrastructure overnight (photo)

During the night of July 24, Russian troops struck railway infrastructure in Odesa, damaging a locomotive. Fortunately, no employees of Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) were injured, the Ukrzaliznytsia Telegram channel reports.
"Russia continues targeted attacks on civilian infrastructure and rolling stock. Overnight, the enemy once again struck around the ports of Odesa to block access," Ukrzaliznytsia stated.
The railway company added that an advanced monitoring and alert system was activated, allowing railway workers to take shelter in time. No personnel were injured.
"We are actively restoring the damaged facilities. We extend our condolences to everyone affected by the occupiers' actions," Ukrzaliznytsia added.

Since the full-scale war began, Russian forces have relentlessly shelled Ukrainian populated areas. The enemy uses a broad arsenal - from various missiles and guided bombs to artillery and drones.
According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, overnight, the enemy deployed 103 drones, mostly Shahed UAVs, and launched four missiles.
Among these, on the night of July 24, Russian terrorists used more than 30 drones against Odesa, injuring four people.
