On the night of April 6, 2026, Odesa once again shuddered from a massive attack by Russian units, according to the head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.

According to the official, civilians came under attack: the enemy deliberately targeted residential buildings, causing serious destruction and injuries to civilians.

"The enemy is again massively attacking the city. There is information about strikes on residential buildings. Damage has been recorded in the Kyivskyi and Prymorskyi districts," said the head of the City Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.

According to operational information, damage has been recorded in two key districts of the city - Kyivskyi and Prymorskyi.

In one of them, an enemy rocket or drone struck a multi-story residential building directly. Critical structural damage from the third to the fifth floors has been recorded there.

Rescuers from the State Emergency Service are currently conducting an extremely complex operation: there is a high probability that people are trapped under the concrete debris. Special equipment, canine units, and all emergency services are working at the scene.

Also in the same district, strikes on several private houses have been recorded.

As of 4:30 a.m., five injured people have already been reported. All of them were promptly taken to medical facilities with injuries of varying severity. Information on the total number of wounded and potential casualties is continually updated as debris removal continues.

Operational headquarters have been set up at the impact sites. Residents of damaged buildings can receive psychological first aid, hot drinks, and consultations regarding temporary relocation. Utility services have already begun addressing the consequences to restore normal life in the affected neighborhoods as quickly as possible.

Earlier, the Air Force reported several groups of attack drones heading toward Odesa. According to monitoring channels, more than 30 drones were flying toward the city, moving in several groups.

In total, the air raid alert in Odesa lasted just over an hour. The all-clear was given at 3:37 a.m. Kyiv time.

By the way, on the night of April 5, Russian troops had already attacked Odesa. At that time, the shelling caused cars and a balcony of a residential building to catch fire.
