How to remove excess fluid from the body
To remove excess fluid, it is necessary to follow these recommendations:
- Improve blood circulation - avoid wearing too tight clothing and prolonged standing. Sleep with your legs on a small pillow.
- Limit salt intake - try to avoid salty foods and reduce the amount of salt in your daily diet.
- Sufficient water intake.
- Physical exercises - body movement increases metabolic rate, stimulates blood circulation, and therefore improves fluid elimination. This can include walking, cycling, swimming, or fitness training.
- Avoid alcohol - strong drinks containing alcohol contribute to dehydration and water retention in the body.
Additionally, certain medications, especially those for hypertension, diabetes, or some anti-inflammatory drugs, may also cause water retention.
