As of the beginning of the day, June 25, the number of combat engagements on the frontline has increased to 75. Russia is most active in the Pokrovsk sector, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Sectors

In the Kharkiv sector, fighting continues near Vovchansk. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 1 of the 4 Russian attacks.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russians with the support of aviation tried to push Ukrainian troops out 6 times in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka and Pishchane. 8 Russian attempts to advance were repelled by Ukrainian defenders, and 2 firefights are ongoing.

In the Lyman sector, Russia tried to attack 11 times near the settlements of Kopanky, Hrekivka, Makiivka, Nevske, and the Serebryanske forestry. Ukrainian troops repelled 7 Russian attacks, 4 combat engagements are ongoing.

In the Siversk sector, Russian troops are active in Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, and Vyimka. 2 Russian attacks are currently underway.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russia attacked in the Horlivka-Toretsk area. 4 Russian attacks were repelled, and 2 more are ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 26 Russian attacks near Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Yevhenivka, Sokil, Novoselivka Persha, and Yasnobrodivka. 2 battles are currently ongoing.

In the Vremivka sector, Russia attacked 4 times near Kostiantynivka and Urozhaine.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russians attacked Ukrainian positions twice near Robotyne and Mala Tokmachka. Ukrainian troops repelled 1 Russian attack, but another is ongoing.

Situation at front

As analysts at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) wrote, the Defense Forces counterattacked the Russians and regained some tactical positions northeast of Kharkiv. Meanwhile, the enemy advanced on the Siversky and Toretsk directions.
