Norway’s Prime Minister arrives in Ukraine

Today, Monday, August 25, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre arrived in Kyiv on a visit. The Norwegian leader was met at the capital's railway station, according to the head of the President's Office, Andrii Yermak.
Yermak, who met with the Prime Minister together with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, emphasized the importance of support from partners.
"It is important for us to feel the support of true allies. Norway has always stood by our people, providing significant assistance to the Defense Forces, and we appreciate this reliable solidarity," said the head of the Presidential Office.
German Vice Chancellor and Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil also visited Kyiv today.
Norway's support for Ukraine
The Norwegian government has also decided to allocate nearly $100 million to Ukraine for the purchase of imported natural gas.
