No fear, no ceasefire: Zelenskyy slams Russia for daily missile terror and truce rejection

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia has rejected a US proposal for a ceasefire in Ukraine and continues its daily campaign of terror against Ukrainian civilians.
"This Friday marked one month since Russia spurned the US proposal for a full and unconditional ceasefire. They are not afraid. That’s why they keep launching ballistic missiles. That’s why there are nearly a hundred attack drones every night — most of them Shaheds — targeting ordinary Ukrainian cities," Zelenskyy said.
The President emphasized that this is also why Russian assaults on the front line continue. According to him, Russian forces have not stopped attacking and continue to spread hatred through their state propaganda.
“Only pressure — only decisive action — can change this. Every Russian ballistic missile, every cruise missile, every Shahed drone, and every guided bomb strike affects not only our people and our communities but also diplomacy and the political efforts of everyone trying to end this war. We will continue doing everything we can to protect our people and save lives,” Zelenskyy said.
Double missile strike on Sumy
Earlier on Saturday, April 13, Russian forces launched a double missile strike on the center of the northeastern city of Sumy. According to the latest reports, at least 34 people were killed, including two children. The number of wounded has already surpassed 100.
The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that two ballistic missiles were used in the attack, causing massive destruction to civilian infrastructure. Both residential and non-residential buildings were damaged.
Local authorities added that Russia once again used a missile armed with cluster munitions. The missile exploded over the city.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that Russia would face a harsh response for this attack. The military emphasized that the enemy will face “our rage and retaliation.”
The attack sparked outrage across the international community. Western leaders condemned Russia’s actions, stating that such strikes demonstrate a total disregard for human life.
