Russia once again attacked Ukraine overnight on March 31st. The enemy utilized missiles and drones, with energy infrastructure being targeted once more.

Details on the aftermath of the nighttime attack are provided in the article below by RBC-Ukraine.

During the preparation of the material, sources were used: Telegram channels of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrenergo, Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration Maksym Kozytskyi, the head of the Rivne Regional State Administration Oleksandr Koval, and the city administration of Odesa.

Attacks by the occupiers

Russia launched 14 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles over Ukraine from Tu-95MS strategic aircraft overnight, along with one Iskander-M ballistic missile and one guided Kh-59 missile. Additionally, 11 kamikaze drones were detected.

Air defense forces destroyed nine Kh-101/Kh-555 missiles and nine Shahed drones.

Odesa region

Eight kamikaze drones were destroyed in the Odesa region. An energy facility caught fire due to the debris of a downed drone, resulting in several settlements being without power. There were no casualties.

Emergency power outages were introduced in Odesa and adjacent areas following the overnight attack. Energy officials warned that if consumption increases, restrictions may be imposed in other areas.

Due to the electricity shortage in Odesa, trams and trolleybuses were suspended. Buses were deployed on routes instead of electric transport.

Lviv region

The enemy targeted a critical infrastructure site with cruise missiles, which had previously been targeted on March 24 and 29. A fire broke out due to the impact, resulting in the destruction of the administrative building.

A man was killed in the attack, but rescue efforts continue at the strike site. The head of the Lviv Regional State Administration does not rule out the possibility that there may still be people under the rubble.

Kherson region

Military personnel reported that the Kherson region was attacked by drones and missiles overnight. The enemy launched a ballistic missile and a guided aviation missile towards the Kherson region.

The Russians targeted a decommissioned agricultural enterprise. There were no casualties.

In the Rivne region, debris from enemy targets damaged an electricity pole. According to the Regional State Administration, there were no power outages.
