Night strike on Dnipro: Air defense systems shot down 10 drones, but hits on energy facility reported
Russian forces attacked Dnipro and its region tonight, February 13, using drones. Hits on energy and infrastructure objects were recorded, according to Serhii Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
"For the second night in a row, there has been a mass drone attack on the region. Our defenders destroyed 10 Shahed drones in the Dniprovskyi district. However, several hits were recorded in Dnipro itself. An energy facility came under attack, resulting in a fire that was extinguished by firefighters," the head of the Regional Military Administration stated.
According to him, the Russians also targeted an infrastructure object, causing a fire, but it was promptly put out.
"I thank those who work 24/7 to eliminate the consequences of Russian terror. This includes our energy heroes. They have already restored electricity to residents of the Pavlohrad district after yesterday's attacks. They are currently working in the regional center, where almost all buildings have also been restored," added Lysak.
