On the night of November 9, Russia carried out another attack on Ukraine, using strike drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Forces.
During the night of November 9, Russian troops launched a massive attack with 69 strike drones, including Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of drones.
The launches came from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, Orel, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia. Around 50 of the drones used were Shaheds.
Air defense was carried out by aviation, surface-to-air missile troops, electronic warfare units, UAV units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data as of 09:00, Ukrainian air defense shot down or suppressed 34 enemy drones in the north and east of the country.
At the same time, 32 strike drones hit nine locations, and debris from a downed drone fell in one additional location.
"The attack is ongoing; there are several enemy drones in the airspace. Follow safety rules!" the military added.
It is worth noting that the enemy again targeted the Odesa region with drones during the night.
Despite the successful work of air defenses, debris from downed drones damaged private homes and caused fires, which rescuers quickly extinguished.
