On the night of September 1, Russian forces launched two Kalibr cruise missiles at Ukraine. Ukrainian air defense forces managed to intercept one of them, while the other struck a private enterprise in the Vinnytsia region, according to the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian Air Force.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the missiles were launched from the Black Sea waters near Feodosia.

One missile was successfully neutralized, while the other hit a private enterprise in the Vinnytsia region, causing damage to property, private vehicles, and casualties. Assistance is being provided to the affected individuals.

Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration confirmed information about a rocket hitting one of the private enterprises.

"During a nighttime attack, the enemy launched two rockets. One was successfully intercepted, while the other hit one of the private enterprises in the Vinnytsia region," wrote the governor, Serhii Borzov.

The head of the Regional Military Administration Andrii Raikovych reports that a cruise missile was shot down over the Kirovohrad region.

"During the morning alert in the sky over Kirovohrad region, a cruise missile was shot down. There are no casualties or injuries," he wrote on Telegram.

Nighttime attack on Ukraine

In response to the threat of enemy missile attacks, an air raid alert was announced in several regions of Ukraine and in Kyiv on the night of September 1.

Military authorities warned citizens about Russians potentially launching Kalibr missiles from the Black Sea, targeting Ukrainian territory.
