The couple settled and filed the necessary documents in court on Tuesday, January 6, three months after Kidman initiated the divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
The 58-year-old actress from The Perfect Pair and the musician agreed on financial and parental arrangements without any public conflict.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, both parties waived any claims for spousal or child support. Each will also cover their own legal fees.

A separate section of the agreement outlines the rules for joint parenting of their daughters – 15-year-old Faith and 17-year-old Sunday.
The document emphasizes the importance of maintaining a healthy atmosphere between parents and children.
“They will not speak badly of each other or the members of the family of the other parent,” the court agreement states.
The parties also committed to supporting the children’s emotional bond with both parents.
“They will encourage each child to continue to love the other parent and be comfortable in both families,” the documents say.
Under the agreement, Faith and Sunday’s primary residence is set as Nicole Kidman’s home – the actress will live with her daughters for 306 days a year.
Keith Urban is allowed to spend 59 days a year with the children, as well as see them every other weekend, from 10:00 a.m. Saturday to 6:00 p.m. Sunday.

At the same time, both parents share joint responsibility for making key decisions related to their daughters’ lives.
The couple’s split first became public in September. At the time, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that the actress and the musician, who married in June 2006, were no longer together.
An insider said that during this period, Kidman’s family rallied around her to offer support.
According to the source, Nicole tried until the very end to save the marriage.
Despite the divorce, the former couple remains focused on their children’s well-being.
Back in November, an insider told PEOPLE that Faith and Sunday manage their time with each parent themselves, and that the situation remains calm.
The source also emphasized that the divorce has not been accompanied by conflict.
