Next Ramstein meeting to be held in US next week
Next week, the United States will hold a regular meeting in the Ramstein format on military support for Ukraine. The online meeting will take place on Monday, May 20, according to Pentagon.
The Ramstein meeting will be chaired by US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Charles Brown.
Almost 50 countries participating in the Ramstein format are expected to discuss Russia's aggression against Ukraine and continue close cooperation to provide Ukraine with the necessary means to defend its sovereign territory.
As announced by the Pentagon, the US Secretary of Defense will make a statement before the meeting. This is scheduled to take place at 15:00 Kyiv time.

Meeting in the Ramstein format
This meeting will be the 22nd since the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine. The first meeting in the Ramstein format took place on April 26, 2022. Today, the contact group has almost 50 members from around the world.
At the last meeting, held in late April, the countries discussed the supply of ATACMS missiles and artillery shells to Ukraine.
On the eve of the 22nd meeting in the Ramstein format, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced that $2 billion would be allocated to Ukraine for arms purchases.
