Former Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has headed the government since March 2020. Just yesterday, the Verkhovna Rada supported his resignation, and already today, the Cabinet of Ministers is headed by Svyrydenko.
According to sources, Shmyhal is one of the candidates for the post of Ukraine's Ambassador to the USA, replacing Oksana Markarova.
