Russia is expected to intensify its information pressure over the next two weeks regarding an alleged new offensive on the front line. In addition, Russian propaganda will step up operations targeting Ukraine's Territorial Recruitment Centers (TRC), the Center for Countering Disinformation reports.

According to the source, the enemy will attempt to portray the actions of its army as a new phase of a military operation. In reality, however, it is a continuation of the offensive campaign that has been ongoing since 2024 and has not yielded the results Russia anticipated.

An escalation of an information operation targeting the TRC system in Ukraine is also expected.

"Against the backdrop of Russian strikes on TRC buildings, which have already caused civilian casualties, enemy propaganda, using fakes and manipulation, will attempt to create a false impression that such attacks are supported by Ukrainians," the statement says.

The Center warns that Russian propaganda will intensify messaging aimed at discrediting international support for Ukraine, particularly after the meeting of the Coalition of the Willing and ongoing work on new sanction packages against Moscow.

"In addition, a new wave of propaganda is expected around the anniversary of the MH17 tragedy. There may also be increased manipulation on religious themes ahead of the Day of the Baptism of Kyivan Rus," the Center for Countering Disinformation added.

Russia's new offensive

The media outlet Axios, citing informed sources, reported that during a conversation with US President Donald Trump, Russian leader Putin allegedly made it clear that he would launch an offensive in Ukraine within the next 60 days.

According to the outlet's sources, following this, Trump may have shifted his rhetoric regarding Russia and Ukraine.

However, the Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andriy Kovalenko, commented that this does not indicate a new Russian offensive. The Kremlin plans to continue its meat grinder assaults in the east as part of the 2024 offensive, which is failing.
