A massive fire broke out in St. Petersburg today, January 13. A warehouse of an online store is ablaze, according to the Russian Telegram channel SHOT and Russian media.

A massive fire erupted at the Wildberries warehouse in Shushary, a settlement within the Pushkinsky District of St. Petersburg.

The fire broke out during the shift change between night and day when there were at least 1000 people in the warehouse. As of now, there is no information about casualties.

The fire has engulfed an area of at least 50,000 square meters and continues to spread. According to reports from Russian media, the fire is approaching the truck parking area.

Footage shared online depicts a powerful fire accompanied by heavy smoke.

For instance, a warehouse in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, was ablaze. Reports online indicated that the fire was challenging to extinguish due to a shortage of water supply for the firefighting vehicles.
