What is known about Panettiere’s death and life

As previously reported, the tragic news was announced by the actress’s longtime representative on behalf of her father, Alan Panettiere.

“It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic death of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to everyone who knew her, as well as to the millions of people who watched her on screen,” the statement said.

In 2023, the actress’s family also lost her brother Jansen, who was 28 years old. He had heart health problems.

Panettiere began her career as a child. She gained worldwide fame for her role as Claire Bennet in the sci-fi series Heroes, and later starred in the musical drama Nashville. For her portrayal of Juliette Barnes, she received two Golden Globe nominations.

The actress is survived by her 11-year-old daughter, Kaya Evdokia, whom she had with Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko. The couple got engaged in 2013 after nearly four years together, but they never married.

They eventually split, and the boxer was granted full custody of their daughter amid the actress’s struggles with mental health and addiction.
