Netanyahu at UN threatens Iran with strike: There is no place that Israel cannot reach
In the event of an attack by Iran on Israel, the IDF will respond with strikes. Israeli military forces will reach everywhere, stated Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the UN General Assembly.
Netanyahu noted that since Hamas invaded Israel, his country has been fighting on six additional fronts in the war initiated by Iran. These include Hezbollah, which attacks Israel from Lebanese territory, the Houthi movement in Yemen, Iranian-backed Shiite militias operating in Syria and Iraq, as well as Palestinian militants in the West Bank and within Iran.
"I have a message for the tyrants of Tehran. If you strike us, we will strike you. There is no place in Iran that the long arm of Israel cannot reach, and that's true of the entire Middle East," he added.
He also emphasized that Israeli forces repelled the terrorists with incredible bravery and self-sacrifice.
Background
The conflict between Israel and Iran has intensified following the elimination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.
This occurred due to an explosion while Haniyeh was in a guesthouse of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
At first, the media spread rumors that the house had been hit by an air strike. But later, new information emerged that explosives had detonated in the room where Haniyeh was staying.
