Nearly 80% of Ukrainians support continuing fight against Russia this winter

Polling data indicates that 77% of respondents expressed a clear conviction that the fight should continue. They believe Ukraine should maintain its armed resistance even if part of the population is forced to endure a prolonged lack of electricity, heating, and sewage services.
Meanwhile, 12% of those surveyed said that under such difficult conditions, Ukraine should agree to any demands from Russia, even if they amount to capitulation. Another 11% were unable to clearly state their position on the issue.
The readiness to resist despite winter domestic hardships prevails in all regions of Ukraine. Support for continuing the fight ranges from 68% in the east to 83% in Kyiv.
Kyiv recorded the highest level of support for armed resistance in the country, despite a campaign of enemy strikes using ballistic missiles and jet-powered drones.
Earlier, most Ukrainian refugees in Poland said they had already adapted to life in the country. At the same time, half of those surveyed said they plan to return to Ukraine, mostly after the war ends.
Meanwhile, despite the full-scale war, most Ukrainians consider themselves happy. The share of such respondents has increased noticeably over the past year and a half. At the same time, 16% of those surveyed described themselves as unhappy.
