National Guard fighters destroyed Russian occupiers' checkpoints in the Kherson region. Defenders showcased a video of their combat operations on Telegram of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine.
In the video published online, the operations of drone operators from the reconnaissance unit of the 11th brigade named after Mykhailo Hrushevskyi of the Southern Operational-Territorial Association of the National Guard of Ukraine are documented.
Defenders, using drones, attack the positions of Russian occupiers on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region.
"The occupiers' checkpoints set up in Kherson region are burning daily," the report states.
Fighting in the Kherson region
It's worth recalling that in November, it became known that our troops were consolidating on the left bank of the Kherson region. The General Staff explained that the Armed Forces of Ukraine aim to push Russian occupiers away from the right bank of the Dnipro River. This will help reduce shelling of civilians.
Ukrainian military emphasized that work on the left bank of the Dnipro is ongoing, but it is complicated by adverse weather conditions.
