And how did it all begin in Ukraine? In ancient times, our grandmothers took care of their nails using natural remedies. Instead of modern nail files, they used fine sand or chalk, and to make their nails shine, they polished them with honey, oil, or beeswax.
To add a light tint, they used herbal infusions, beet or berry juice, and rinses made from nettle, calendula, or chamomile to strengthen nails.
Today, manicure remains an essential part of female beauty and a form of self-expression that highlights every woman's individuality.
