In the early morning of June 14, Russian forces carried out another attack on Mykolaiv. Two types of infrastructure were targeted, according to a Telegram post by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim.

According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a Russian jet‑powered drone was heading toward Mykolaiv at 04:20 a.m. Kyiv time. About 20 minutes later, a large group of drones headed for the city, and at 5:00 a.m., explosions were heard in Mykolaiv.

Later, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration confirmed the attack and specified what exactly had been targeted by Russian forces.

"Mykolaiv. Transport and energy infrastructure were targeted by Shahed drones. As of now, no casualties," wrote Vitalii Kim.

Attacks on Mykolaiv

Russian forces frequently attack Mykolaiv, using various means.

On April 30, the city came under a drone attack, which damaged a private house and an apartment building. A fire broke out at the site of the attack.

In addition, late in the evening of April 19, Mykolaiv also came under a drone attack. At that time, an apartment building, several private houses, power lines, cars, and tram tracks were damaged.

On the morning of April 16, an enemy attack left Mykolaiv without electricity.
