Musk publicly opposes Trump's ally in Britain
American billionaire Elon Musk has publicly spoken out against Nigel Farage, an ally of US President-elect Donald Trump in Britain. The billionaire believes that Farage's Reform UK party needs new leadership, Sky News reports.
On his social network X (Twitter), Musk said that Farage “doesn't have what it takes” and emphasized the need for a new party leader.
According to Sky News, Musk did not specify what exactly prompted him to make this statement.
However, earlier they disagreed over the far-right activist Tommy Robinson. Musk called for Robinson's dismissal, while Farage distanced himself, calling him “the wrong person.” By the way, Robinson was arrested for violating a court order related to defamatory statements about a Syrian refugee student.
What is known about Nigel Farage
Nigel Farage, the leader of the opposition party Reform UK in the UK, has long supported Donald Trump. It is worth noting that he bet on Trump's support long before the latter's victory.
Farage has known Trump for a long time. During the US election campaign, he visited and openly campaigned for the US president-elect. Moreover, the contacts between the two politicians have only grown stronger since Trump's victory.
