RBC-Ukraine reveals which European cities you can move to and receive compensation.
1. Calabria, Italy: €28,000 for relocation
Sunny Italy has always been a popular destination for immigration, and Calabria is no exception. It is one of the most picturesque regions of the country, known for its natural beauty, peaceful beaches, and stunning mountains.
Calabria offers foreigners a significant compensation of up to €28,000 to cover relocation expenses and settling in. This offer is available to those under 40 who find a job in Calabria and are willing to move within 90 days of being accepted into the program.
Currently, Italian municipalities are working to revive local communities that suffer from an aging population and emigration, and they are looking for new residents from abroad, particularly youth and professionals.
2. Campobasso, Italy: €2,000
In Campobasso, located in the southeastern part of Italy, financial incentives are also being offered to new residents.
If you are ready to move to this city, with its rich traditions and history, you can receive up to €2,000. The money covers settlement expenses and helps with adaptation.
The city actively encourages youth and families, offering comfortable living in picturesque, tranquil surroundings far from the noise of big cities.

Albinen has just 250 residents, and the municipality is ready to pay families to move there in an effort to increase the population. The village is located on the side of a mountain in the canton of Valais.
Adults under the age of 45 can receive up to €25,300, with an additional €11,500 for each child.
