Fruits should not be categorized as good or bad, but there are some foods that are not healthy for everyone.

Which fruits can harm your health

While most fruits are beneficial, some can be harmful, especially when consumed in excess or if certain medical conditions are present. Here are a few examples of fruits that may pose potential risks.

Grapefruit
This fruit can interact with certain medications, including statins, hypertension drugs, or medications for anxiety disorders. Eating grapefruit while taking such medications may change their effectiveness or cause unwanted side effects.

Bananas
Overconsumption of bananas can lead to elevated potassium levels, which may be dangerous for individuals with kidney problems or heart disease.

Avocado
Though rich in healthy fats, excessive avocado intake can lead to weight gain due to its high caloric content. Additionally, some people may experience allergic reactions.

Dried fruits
They are high in sugar and calories, so excessive consumption can result in weight gain and blood sugar problems, particularly for those with diabetes. Some dried fruits may also contain preservatives that can trigger allergic reactions or other side effects.

Cherries and grapes
These can be harmful for people with digestive problems, as they may cause bloating or diarrhea due to their high fructose content.

Durian
This exotic fruit is very high in calories and fat. Its excessive consumption can lead to digestive problems and increased cholesterol levels.
