At the same time, Moscow and Moscow region airports - Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo, and Zhukovsky - temporarily suspended operations.

Attacks on Moscow

As RBC-Ukraine reported, on November 30, unidentified drones were also heading toward Moscow, prompting restrictions at Moscow airports. At that time, explosions were heard in the Moscow region. Russian media, citing eyewitnesses, reported three explosions in Kolomna, near Moscow.

It was also reported that two planes were unable to land at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport: near the city of Vladimir, liners from Fergana (Uzbekistan) and Dubai (UAE) were circling.

Additionally, on the night of October 27, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, 193 drones were intercepted and destroyed, including 40 over the Moscow region, of which 34 were heading toward Moscow.

Russian media also reported on an attack by unidentified drones on Moscow on the evening of October 26.

They published numerous photos and videos from the Russian capital, showing loud explosions and plumes of smoke.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin stated that all were shot down by air defense. At the same time, social media circulated a photo of Russian soldiers on a pickup truck with a machine gun, positioned directly opposite the Kremlin.
