How James Blunt angered social media
The artist posted a new photo taken against the backdrop of snow-covered mountains. However, users’ attention was drawn not to the landscape but to the singer’s look.
In the image, the artist chose to show off a fashionable accessory – a fur hat with the Russian coat of arms. This item became the main topic of discussion and criticism.

Online reaction
Ukrainians couldn’t ignore yet another celebrity showing affection for Russian symbols. Well-known artists and military personnel did not hold back in the comments.
For example, famous Ukrainian singer Artem Pyvovarov left a few sharp lines referencing one of the singer’s famous hits:
"You look so cringe, You look so cringe, You look so cringe, it’s true…"

Another Ukrainian musician, Kolia Serga, who serves as part of the “Cultural Landing” unit, sharply criticized the singer’s behavior and offered some advice:
"Man, stop this crap. Take that junk off, crumple it into a ball, and flush it down the toilet. And wash your head – both outside and inside," he wrote.

Ukrainian comedian Artem Damnytskyi also didn’t stay silent:
"Came to add my two cents, but here it’s already been said long ago. I join the previous speakers," he said.

Ukrainian veteran Oleksandr Teren noted that choosing such an outfit signals support for Russia’s crimes:
"How to say that you support terrorists without saying it."

Did not mince words, and host Anatoliy Anatolich, like many Ukrainians in the comments, made his attitude toward the musician’s image clear with one question. ''Are you an idiot?'' he wrote.

Ukrainians reacted sharply to the singer’s image, stressing that wearing a hat with the aggressor country’s symbols signals support for its crimes.
- "Time to block you on Spotify for supporting a country that is killing innocent people."
- "Russia attacked Ukraine, and you promote their ‘values’? Russia is a terrorist country, a killer nation, a rapist, and a thief! How can you be so indifferent?"
- "This thing on your trendy hat is a symbol of deadly Russian imperial aggression. They kill thousands every day."
- "You’re just an idiot. This morning, all of Ukraine learned about you, and now you’ll feel the full 'charm' of the jackal express."
- "So you really decided to make yourself a laughingstock for everyone and support terrorists?"
