Moldova registers pro-Russian Dodon's bloc for upcoming parliamentary elections

The Central Electoral Commission of Moldova has approved the Patriotic Electoral Bloc to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections. The bloc is an alliance of leaders from pro-Russian parties, Newsmaker reports.
On July 22, the leaders of the Party of Socialists, the Communist Party, the Heart of Moldova Party, and the Future of Moldova Party announced plans to unite into an electoral bloc for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Just a week later, on July 29, the leaders of three pro-Russian parties, Igor Dodon, Irina Vlah, and Vasile Tarlev, submitted documents to the Central Electoral Commission to register their electoral bloc for the parliamentary elections.
At the time, Igor Dodon, Head of the Party of Socialists, told journalists that the bloc currently included only three political formations, but he expected the Communist Party to join soon. That same day, the Central Committee of the Communist Party decided to join the alliance.
On Friday, August 1, Dodon announced that on the 4th, the three parties would discuss the possible inclusion of the Communist Party, as they had received a letter from this party.
As for today, this Sunday, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) officially registered the Patriotic Electoral Bloc as a political alliance. However, in order to participate in the parliamentary elections, the bloc's representatives must submit a full list of candidates to the CEC.
Note that Moldova's parliamentary elections are scheduled to take place next month, on September 28.
Others in Moldova to be denied
Several weeks ago, Moldova's Central Electoral Commission refused registration to the Victory/Pobeda Political Bloc, led by pro-Russian fugitive oligarch Ilan Shor. The decision was made by a majority vote.
Furthermore, just days ago, Moldova's President Maia Sandu stated that Moscow is seeking to interfere in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Moldova to secure victories for pro-Russian politicians.
