Missiles reportedly strike Russian defense plant in Kirov

On the morning of Friday, July 24, the Russian city of Kirov came under a reported missile attack. The strike reportedly hit a Russian defense industry facility, according to Russian media.
Local authorities did not report any threat or attack on their official Telegram channels. However, monitoring channels reported that missiles struck Kirov at around 7 a.m.
According to preliminary reports, the Aviatek plant was hit in the missile attack. The company is a machine-building enterprise specializing in the production of aircraft components, surface-to-air guided missiles, and pilot rescue equipment.
Following the attack, a fire broke out near the plant's building, and a large column of smoke rose above the facility.

There is currently no information on how severe the damage from the attack is.
Other strikes on Russia
Kirov was not the only city targeted in the attacks.
Overnight, drones carried out a large-scale attack on the Leningrad region and the outskirts of St. Petersburg. As a result, two Wildberries warehouses were hit.
In addition, drones also targeted temporarily occupied Crimea overnight. A Wildberries warehouse in Simferopol was also attacked.
