Russia again attacks Kyiv with ballistic missiles and drones. Explosions are being heard across the city, and the effects of the shelling are already being recorded in most districts.

Weapons used by Russia in the Kyiv attack
Around midnight, an air raid alert was announced in Kyiv. The enemy launched drones at the capital, followed later by missiles. Russia also fired a salvo of ballistic missiles at Kyiv.
“Kyiv and Kyiv region are under a massive strike by various types of enemy missiles and UAVs,” the Air Force reported.
What is known about the casualties
As of 02:58 Kyiv time, Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko reported that there are 11 injured in Kyiv, five of whom have been hospitalized by medical teams, including a pregnant woman. One man is in extremely serious condition.
Consequences of the attack: Situation by district
According to Klitschko and Kyiv City Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko, the effects of the massive attack on Kyiv have been recorded in eight districts of the city.
“The Russian forces are striking residential buildings. There are many affected multi-story buildings across Kyiv, practically in every district,” Tkachenko wrote on Telegram.
Klitschko reported that as of 02:20 Kyiv time, fires have been recorded in 11 multi-story buildings in Kyiv, as well as in private houses, non-residential premises, a medical facility, and on the grounds of an educational institution.
- Dniprovskyi district: debris hit a five-story building, causing apartment fires. In total, damage has been recorded in 3 multi-apartment residential buildings and a private estate.
- Darnytskyi district: debris fell into the courtyard of a residential building and on the grounds of an educational institution.
- Shevchenkivskyi district: debris caught fire in an open area and near a medical facility.
- Solomianskyi district: fire on the roof of a five-story residential building.
- Desnianskyi district: fires in two multi-story buildings.
- Podilskyi district: five residential buildings and one non-residential building damaged.
- Sviatoshynskyi district: fire in a private house.
- Holosiivskyi district: fire in a medical facility, non-residential building damaged.
Electricity situation in Kyiv amid the attack
According to DTEK (the largest private investor in the energy industry in Ukraine), stabilizing power outages are currently ongoing in Kyiv. These schedules are expected to remain in effect throughout the day.
At the same time, Klitschko reported that there may be disruptions to the electricity and water supply in Kyiv.
Sections of the city’s heating networks have been damaged. In the Desnianskyi District, heating is partially unavailable due to an emergency.
