Missile attack on Kharkiv: Over 20 injured, 1 dead
The massive missile attack on Kharkiv on January 2 has resulted in over 20 injured and one killed so far, according to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
"There are more than 20 injured as of now. One person has died," he revealed.
Consequences of the mass shelling of Kharkiv
According to the head of the administration, at around 07:30 AM, occupiers launched strikes on the central part of the city of Kharkiv, particularly in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
"The type of missiles is being identified," Syniehubov added.
Apartment buildings, utility structures, other civilian infrastructure, and vehicles are reported to have sustained damage, with reports of car fires.

Early in the morning on January 2, an air raid alert was declared in Ukraine. Both Kyiv and Kharkiv have been subjected to massive attacks, with explosions heard in other regions as well. Several explosions were reported in Kharkiv. It later became known that Russia launched 4 strikes on the city center. Preliminary reports indicated 6 injured, but the number has grown.
