Legendary seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher, who suffered a severe head injury over 12 years ago in a skiing accident, is reportedly no longer bedridden. However, his condition remains serious, and, as usual, there is no public confirmation from his family, according to Daily Mail Sport.
Where Schumacher is and who can see him
Journalists report that the Schumacher family owns several residences, including homes in Switzerland and Mallorca.
According to media sources, the family's main residence remains their estate in Gland, on the shores of Lake Geneva.
Access to Schumacher is minimal aside from family; only a few close friends are allowed to see him.

One of those who reportedly visits the racer regularly is former Ferrari team principal Jean Todt.
The article also notes that over the years, there have been various speculations about Schumacher’s condition, including the possibility of locked-in syndrome.
However, sources cited by journalists say it’s impossible to determine exactly how aware he is of what’s happening around him, as he cannot fully communicate.
Family keeps details private
Michael Schumacher suffered a severe head injury on December 29, 2013, while skiing at the French resort of Méribel in the French Alps. He fell and hit his head on a rock, despite wearing a helmet.
He was urgently hospitalized, underwent several surgeries, and was placed in a medically induced coma.
Later, Schumacher was transferred for treatment and rehabilitation, and since then, his family has strictly limited access to any information about his health and has avoided publicity.
