Mi-8 helicopter 'disappeared from radar' in Russia

According to the Russians, the Mi-8 helicopter "disappeared from the radar" as it flew over Lake Onega in Karelia. There were three people on board.
According to Russian Telegram channels, the plane was flying from Petrozavodsk to Vytegra, Vologda Oblast. Now they are trying to get in touch with it, and search operations are underway in the area of its disappearance.
A group of rescuers on snowmobiles has been dispatched to search for the Russian helicopter.
Earlier, a Russian private jet flying from India to Russia crashed in Afghanistan. There were six people on board - two passengers and four crew members. The plane belonged to the Athletic Group company and an unnamed individual.
Last year, a Su-34 fighter-bomber crashed in the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation. The crew allegedly managed to eject and was evacuated.
