Mercury goes retrograde again: What to expect and how to handle it all week

This week, we can expect the renewal of the "retrograde," as well as many degrees of the destructive Moon. However, if you know what you can do each day, misfortunes will avoid you. Exclusively for RBC-Ukraine, Ukrainian astrologer Kateryna Solovyova gave a full horoscope for the whole week.
August 11
On this day, Mercury becomes retrograde again. And this will last until August 18.
"Do not plan important negotiations, signing new contracts, purchasing equipment, important business trips, taking exams, conducting important payments, or settling disputes with neighbors," Solovyova reminded us about the retro-Mercury period.
During this period, you can return to old tasks or resume communication with former acquaintances.
"Critical day. Avoid alcohol consumption and smoking. Sum up, complete current tasks, and return debts. You can check your immunity: the higher the spiritual development level of a person, the healthier they feel on this day," the astrologer said about August 11.
In addition, on Monday, from 09:55 AM to midnight Kyiv time, the Moon will be void of course. This will only strengthen the "retrograde."
August 12
Because of the general mood of the day, Solovyova does not recommend:
- looking for or starting a new job
- buying or repairing a car
- planning or beginning long trips
- working a lot
- getting married or engaged
"Be careful with new ideas and acquaintances. Remember who suggested negative thoughts to you, and stop contact with those people. Pay attention to family, children, and household matters. You may see prophetic dreams," the expert said.
On August 12, the Moon will be void of course from midnight to 1:33 PM Kyiv time.
August 13
According to Solovyova, men should give presents to women on this day.
"On August 13, from 6:25 to 8:05 PM Kyiv time, the Moon will be in the royal degree of Aries. This degree in such a sign endows one with a peaceful and benevolent character, courage, fearlessness, and bravery," the astrologer said.
It symbolizes successful beginnings and nobility. Also, this degree puts people at a crossroads: whether to take decisive action or to avoid starting. Therefore, Solovyova noted, it is necessary to internally generate and maintain feelings of happiness, joy, satisfaction, and generosity to realize all the positive possibilities of this position.
August 14
A favorable day for politicians, reformers, showmen, and producers. Good for creativity.
"On August 14, our 'Guardian Angel,' the White Moon, or as it is also called, Selene, moves into the sign of Leo, where it will stay for 7 months. I remind you that this is not a physical object, but the closest point to Earth in the lunar orbit, its perigee. It embodies our brightest qualities and rewards us for them," the astrologer said.
Depending on the degree of a person's spiritual development, Solovyova explained that the White Moon manifests on three levels:
- 1 (the strongest level): The person is a conductor of divine energy, helps others, brings goodness, knowledge, and light. For this, they are protected, inspired, and energized
- 2 (medium level): The person sometimes does good deeds and receives deserved rewards in the form of luck and fortune

On August 17, from 3:22 to 5:03 PM Kyiv time, the Moon will be in the destructive degree of Gemini. Because of this, it is worth refraining from affairs that require relying on others.
