Meghan Markle responds to criticism of her Netflix show

Meghan Markle publicly commented on one of the main criticisms of her show "With Love, Meghan", which was released on Netflix in March. And her response was unexpectedly candid, reports The Times.
Meghan Markle's reaction to criticism of her Netflix show
In the series, Meghan appears as the host—she invites guests into a “home-like” atmosphere, sharing tips on cooking, gardening, and organizing everyday life. Among the guests are her friend, actress Mindy Kaling, and her husband, Prince Harry.
Despite its popularity among platform users, the project received mixed reactions from critics. The main complaint from viewers is that the show was not filmed in Meghan's real home, but in a different location styled to look like the Duchess of Sussex’s residence.
During an appearance at the TIME100 Summit in New York, Meghan could not hold back and finally decided to comment on the situation.
People said, "Why didn’t you film the show in your house?". I said, "My kids are coming home for their nap.", she said.
Markle added that eighty people in the kitchen is not exactly the kind of childhood memory she wants to leave her children.
Will the show about Meghan Markle’s life continue?
According to American tabloids, despite the mixed reviews from critics about "With Love, Meghan", Netflix has already decided to renew the show for a second season. Although this has not been officially announced.
At the TIME100 Summit, Meghan herself revealed that the second season will feature renowned chef, restaurateur, philanthropist, and great friend of Ukraine José Andrés.
What Meghan Markle is doing now
In March, Meghan launched the lifestyle brand "As Ever", which quickly became popular. The first release, which included jams, honey, pancake mixes, and floral sprinkles, sold out in less than an hour. The brand was rebranded from its previous name, American Riviera Orchard, which Meghan described as a "word salad."
In April, Meghan launched the podcast "Confessions of a Female Founder", where she talks with women entrepreneurs about their experiences in business. The podcast, by the way, received mixed reviews: some critics consider it superficial, while others praise the sincerity and motivational tone of the conversations.
During her appearance at TIME100, the Duchess said that she is "the happiest I’ve ever been", thanks to the support of Prince Harry and their children. She also emphasized the importance of mental health and setting personal boundaries to maintain harmony in life.
