Media reveal scale of Ukraine's autumn strikes on Russian targets

This autumn, Ukrainian defenders attacked more than 50 fuel and military-industrial infrastructure sites in Russia. Satellite images have emerged showing the aftermath of these strikes, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reports.
According to the outlet, Ukrainian forces have never carried out so many successful strikes in a single season.
Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty used satellite imagery to create a map of the strategic Russian sites hit. The map marks military facilities, oil and gas refineries, oil depots, and terminals.

Ukrainian forces struck the following targets:
Saransk Mechanical Plant
The Saransk Mechanical Plant is part of the Rostec corporation, a key producer of weapons and ammunition for Russian forces.

The attack occurred on the night of October 22. Satellite images show that the roof of one of the plant's buildings was damaged.
Oil terminal in Tuapse
The port of Tuapse is one of Russia's most important Black Sea ports. According to the Black Sea Strategic Studies Institute, Russia transports equipment, ammunition, fuel, and more through it.
On the night of November 1, Ukrainian forces struck the Tuapse oil terminal.

Satellite images indicate a hit on an oil pipeline. One of the tankers, which was in the port at the time of the attack, was also damaged.
Sea oil terminal in Feodosia
The sea oil terminal in Feodosia is the largest in Crimea in terms of oil transfer.

This autumn, Ukrainian forces struck the marine oil terminal in Feodosia in the temporarily occupied Crimea three times.
Satellite images show that 13 fuel tanks were destroyed or damaged.
Transneft and Lukoil facilities
At the end of September, Ukrainian forces struck five oil and gas facilities on the right bank of the Volga River.

Journalists report that satellite images show damage at the Zenzevatka intermediate pumping station of state-owned Transneft and the Korobkovsky gas processing plant of Lukoil. These sites are located about 60 kilometres apart.
Saratov refinery
Ukrainian forces also struck the Saratov oil refinery, one of the largest in Russia, seven times this autumn.

Satellite images from November 16, two days after one of the attacks, show damage to at least one storage tank and destruction of a technological pipeline.
Earlier reports also confirmed that Ukrainian forces from the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine destroyed a MiG-29 in temporarily occupied Crimea.
