Meat patties with filling for dinner: Simple recipe
These unusual meat patties with a filling can make for a great dinner. It's recommended to make the mince yourself for a lighter texture, according to culinary blogger Daria Dariko.
Ingredients for meaty patties:
- Chicken fillet - 2 pieces
- Mushrooms - 3 pieces
- Tomato - 1 piece
- Mozzarella - 100 g
- Pickled cucumber - 2-3 pieces
- Red onion - 1/2 piece
- Green onion - 1 bunch
- Butter - 30-40 g
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
- Oregano - to taste
- Sunflower or olive oil - 1 tbsp.
Directions:
1. Start by grinding the fillet into mince, add salt and pepper to taste. Wash the green onion, chop it finely, and add it to the mince. Melt the butter and pour it into the bowl with the meat and onion.
2. Thoroughly mix the mince, divide it into six equal parts, and shape them into balls. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
3. Place the meatballs on the paper, flatten each one so that the patty is about 1 centimeter thick. Then, using a glass, make edges for the patties by placing the glass in the center of the flattened meatball.
4. Peel the red onion, wash the tomato and mushrooms. Slice the onion and tomato into rings, and slice the mushrooms. Cut the pickled cucumbers into slices as well. Fill the patties with the filling - first onion, then pickled cucumber, mushrooms, and tomato.
5. Add a bit of oregano to taste, drizzle with oil, preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius, and bake the patties for 20-25 minutes. Meanwhile, grate the mozzarella, peel and crush the garlic.
6. Mix the cheese-garlic mixture and evenly spread it on the patties. Bake for an additional 5-7 minutes. All done.
