Massive strike on Kyiv - Damage recorded in four districts, primarily on Left Bank

Kyiv suffered one of the largest strikes by Russia in the early hours of Thursday, August 28. The most severe destruction was recorded on the city’s Left Bank, according to the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko.
Darnytskyi district: damage was recorded at no fewer than six locations. This includes significant destruction to residential buildings of 5 and 16 floors. Extensive damage was reported there, and rescue operations are ongoing.
A private residential house was also damaged, as well as a kindergarten.
Dnipro district: a 25-story residential building was hit, private cars in courtyards were damaged, and a fire broke out in an office building.
Klitschko noted that “information about new damaged locations in the district continues to come in.”
Solomianskyi district: a private residential building was affected.
Shevchenkivskyi district: damage was reported at no fewer than three sites, including an office building.
As of 05:05 AM Kyiv time, three people were confirmed dead, including one child, and nine others were injured.
