Massive shelling of Kharkiv - Russians attacked industrial zone, fire rages at factories

Russian shelling of Kharkiv last night caused large-scale fires, with a textile factory burning. Among the injured in the city as a result of the drone strike is an infant, according to a statement from the spokesperson of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, Dmytro Chubenko.
Most of the impacts in the city were in the industrial zone, and fires are still ongoing in warehouses and production facilities. According to Chubenko, the fire covers an area of about 2,000 square meters.
The representative of the regional prosecutor's office clarified that the affected enterprises are civilian. He added that one of the textile factories is still burning.
As a result of the explosions, about 20 private residential houses were also damaged, with facades and windows shattered.
In total, during the night drone attack on April 2, there were between 13 and 15 strikes in the city, all in the Kholodnohirs'kyi district of Kharkiv. Russians used Geran-2 strike drones for the shelling.
As of 03:00 AM, there is information about 8 injured individuals, all suffering from acute stress reactions. These include four women aged 40 to 51, a 53-year-old man, a 16-year-old girl, a 9-month-old infant, and a 7-year-old boy.
Night drone strike on Kharkiv
On the evening of April 1, Russians launched strike drones toward Ukraine for another air attack. Due to the threat of drone strikes, air alerts were declared in several regions.
During the night, a series of explosions were heard in Kharkiv amid a massive drone attack. Local authorities reported casualties, with the number continuing to rise. Fires were also reported in the Kholodnohirs'kyi district of the city, and there were reports of enemy UAVs hitting a private home.
The regional military administration also stated that, as a result of the shelling, the roof of a four-story building, covering an area of 1,000 square meters, was on fire, as well as a building covering an area of 500 square meters.
