On Saturday, March 29, a solar eclipse will occur. In addition, a New Moon is coming, making this day potentially special.

Exclusively for RBC-Ukraine, Ukrainian astrologer Kateryna Solovyova shared insights on who can expect joy and who should prepare for challenges.

New Moon and eclipse

"At 12:58 Kyiv time, the exact phase of the New Moon will occur, and at 12:48, the exact phase of the partial solar eclipse will take place. It’s a good time to plan: anything you set out to achieve has a higher chance of success compared to other Moon phases. The first hour after the eclipse, from 12:48 to 13:48, is especially favorable for this," Solovyova explained.

"Both celestial bodies will be in conjunction in Aries. For the Sun, this is one of the best positions. Additionally, both the Sun and the Moon will form favorable aspects with Jupiter, creating two 'Seals of Luck.' They will also form positive connections with Pluto, the ruler of the New Moon," she added.

Thanks to this, she noted, everything planned will have an exceptionally powerful impulse for realization. Due to the retrograde motion of Mercury and Venus, this eclipse may provide significant support for transforming existing processes and situations, rather than initiating new ones. Primarily, it will impact self-awareness, appearance, image, behavior, physical condition, personal initiative, and personal matters.

Those born between the following dates should be cautious with the effects of this eclipse:

  • March 26 to April 1
  • June 27 to July 3
  • September 28 to October 4
  • December 27 to January 2.

On the other hand, those born between the following dates will have a chance for positive changes:

  • April 26 to May 2
  • July 28 to August 3
  • November 27 to December 3
  • January 25 to 31.

"Additionally, this natural phenomenon will affect those with elements in their horoscope that will be activated by the transiting celestial bodies during this period. Be sure to check which areas of your radix the transiting Sun and Moon will be in during the eclipse: this is where karmic situations may manifest, which need to be worked through to resolve karmic debts. These situations cannot be avoided; the key is to react correctly to them to harmonize this area as much as possible," Solovyova explained.

"If everything is processed correctly, this area will reach a new level of development. Although this solar eclipse 'closes' the Eclipse Corridor, the influence on a person during this period can last for months or even years," she added.

In addition, March 29 is a Saturn day, the planet of wisdom, limitations, duties, time, responsibility, laws, overcoming difficulties, order, and karma. Astrologers also call it the "great misfortune."

"Saturn generously rewards those who study its lessons and pass its 'exams' by going through its trials. You can balance the effects of Saturn through truthfulness, hard work, and caring for others," the expert reminded.
